Barbara Frances Francis

Barbara (Bowden) Francis, 57, of Grandview, MO was born to the union of James T Bowden and Ruby Bowden on August 17, 1964. She passed away on December 19, 2021 surrounded with family and lots of love.

Barbara resided in the greater Kansas City, MO area her entire life. She graduated from Southeast High School and immediately started a career caring for others children. She had a passion for children, cartoons, food and laughter. Her greatest joy was God blessing her with her own daughter, NaChina Francis. She was known for her infectious laugh and warm heart. She dedicated her life to Christ at an early age and loved the Lord with all her heart. She became a faithful member of Deeper Life Christian Ministries, where she shared the joy of the Lord with the children over the years.

Barbara was preceded in death by both of her loving parents, brothers Jerry Bowden, Erskine Bowden, Jimmie Bowden, Ozie Bowden and Ricky Bowden, sister Candy Bowden and grandson Kingston Francis. She leaves to cherish her adoring daughter NaChina Francis; brother James (Martina) Bowden; sisters Annie Simpson, Brenda (Isaac) Morris, LaDora (Percy) Bailey, Gloria (Nathaniel) Campbell, and Pamela (Allen) Mozee and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
