Bonnie Jean Holman

Bonnie Jean Holman, 89, of Medicalodges, Butler, MO, formerly of Grandview, MO died peacefully Monday, February 19, 2024. She was born September 18, 1934, in Waterloo, IA, daughter of Harold and Leona (Melcher) Langan. She married Olaf “Ole” Holman at age 20 and settled in Omaha, NE. They had five children and in 1967 moved to Stillwater, MN. In 1977, they moved to Grandview, MO.

After moving to Grandview, Bonnie became a beloved school bus driver for 25 years. She loved to paint and made several beautiful oil paintings. Her and her husband loved to bowl and play tennis. Later in life they took up golf together and every weekend were at the lake golfing and fishing. Bonnie also very much enjoyed spending time with family and friends.

Survived by son Harold; daughter Sherri (Bill) Jordan; three grandsons Sean, Rick and Matthew; four granddaughters Sarah, Kelsey, Page and Christina; 13 great grandchildren; four brothers Dean, Norris, Daniel and Keith and one sister Sharon Schmit.

Preceded in death by her husband Ole, three brothers William, Darrell and Steve, three of her children Marty, Ricky and Lisa, grandchild Marty and great grandchild Maggie.
