Charles A. Knoor, 85, of Grandview, MO died Sept. 21, 2013. Visit. 6-8 pm Wed. Sept. 25 and the funeral service 10:00 am Thur. Charlie was born Feb. 3, 1928 in Kansas City, MO to Alvin and Mary Phillips Knoor. He was a SGT in the US Army Signal Corp in Japan. Charlie was a truck driver and a retired Teamster. He owned Knoor Tire and Charlie Knoor Trucking. Charlie was a member of Grandview Masonic Lodge and Ararat Shrine.
Preceded in death by his parents, wife Georgia in 2010, two sisters, Joyce Hestand and Beverly Stultz. Survived by children Sheila and Rusty Sullivan, Grandview MO, Donnie and Pam Moore, Harrisonville MO and Chuck Knoor and Joannie Walker, Grandview MO; 7 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
