

Darlene was born on April 10, 1952, in Cuba, NY, to Clyde & Elva Gross. She grew up in Rushford, NY, and graduated from Rushford High School. She married the love of her life, Donald Taylor, on June 25, 1977, and together they built a beautiful family.
Darlene graduated from Houghton College with a degree in Elementary Education. Her love of teaching was evident to all around her.
She loved her church family and taught Sunday School and children’s programs at Belfast Free Methodist Church. Her hobbies included baking, researching family history, puzzles, reading, and watching Atlanta Braves and Buffalo Bills games.
She is survived by her husband, Donald, and two children, Lisa (Seoul, Korea) and her husband (JangSukJong) and children (David, Justin, Joshua, Daniel, Samuel, James, William ) and Joseph (Kansas City, MO) and his wife (Heba) and children (Elias, Zackary, Eliana, Naomi), along with her brothers (Jack, Russell, David, Dan, Randy).
We will host two celebration of life services: one in Kansas City, on February 21st at 5 p.m. at 12905 S. US Highway 71 Grandview, MO and one in New York at a later date to be announced.

Darlene will be deeply missed and forever remembered for her faith in Jesus and her love for her family. Her legacy of love, strength, and devotion will continue to inspire all who knew her.
