Dixie Lee Hardison, 77, of Hermitage, MO (formerly of Grandview, MO) passed away February 20, 2013 at St. Luke’s Hospital. She was born to Dean Day and Maxine (Witt) Day on January 19, 1936 in Kansas City, MO.
She was a member of the Pomme de Terre United Methodist Church, and
retired in 1998 after 20 years of service as a cook for the Grandview C-4 School District.
Preceding her in death were her parents; grandmother, Alice Witt and Aunt, Wilma Allin. She is survived by her husband of 57 years, James R. Hardison, Hermitage, MO; sons, Daniel Hardison, Blue Springs, MO, Michael Hardison (Angie) of Raymore, MO; daughter, Cheryl Franklin (Todd) of Pleasant Hill, MO;
grandchildren, Brandon Franklin (Celeste), Jamie Franklin & Cody Hardison; sister, Denise English (Larry) of Peculiar, MO.
Funeral Service will be 1:00 PM, Monday February 25, 2013
at Mt Moriah & Freeman Funeral Home, 10507 Holmes Rd. K.C., MO
Friends may call from 12:00 until service time. Burial in Mount Moriah Cemetery.
