

Douglas Dean Workman, 81, of Grandview Missouri passed away on Monday June 30th, 2025. He was born on November 13, 1943, in Lamar, Missouri, he was the son of the late Leonard L. and Vida M. (Woods) Workman. “Doug” was a hard working man. He started his career as a barber for 10 years, then joined the Teamsters Union working at Safeway for 20 years and then finishing his career out at Flemming. When Doug was not working, he enjoyed spending time with his family. That time was spent either at the family farm, on his boat at the lakes, camping, hunting, and fishing. “Pa” never missed any of his children, grandchildren, or great-grandchildren’s sporting events. He was a caregiver and provider for all, especially his partner Barbara. Doug is proceeded in death by parents Leonard and Vida, brother Woody, and daughter Denise Reasoner. He is survived by his partner Barbara Bernard, son Dane (Linda) Workman, Grandchildren Brock (Ashley) Reasoner, Lauren Reasoner, Chelsea Sanders (Dennis Davenport), Janson (Vanessa) Sanders, Bailey Workman (Daulton Duke), Great-grandchildren Cohan, Aubrey, Ava, Ryker, Huxlee, Mateo, Haizen, Luke, Olivia, his Twin brother Jerry (Frances) and niece Kelli (Duane) Roy and family. Family and friends are invited to a visitation on Saturday, July 26th from 10AM to 12PM at McGilley & George Funeral Home , 12913 Grandview Rd, Grandview, MO with a lunch immediately following
