

Ethel Nadine Morford, age 89, wife of the late Bill Aaron Morford of Grandview, passed away on Thursday, September 2, 2021. Ethel was born January 25, 1932 in Kansas City, Missouri. She was the daughter of the late David and Marie Bohrer Nash.
Mrs. Morford grew up at 89th and State Line. She attended Ruskin High School and worked as a waitress until she married. She raised three boys: Ronald, Donald and Arthur Morford. She was active in Boy Scouts as a den mother. In her spare time she took care of many children and distributed food to the needy through a local church.
She is survived by sons Ronald and his wife Wanda of Grandview, Missouri, and Arthur and his wife Elizabeth of Cleveland, Missouri; 4 grandchildren, Rhonda and her husband Robert Dempsey of Blue Springs, Missouri, Keith Knapp of Raymore, Missouri, David and his wife Mary Morford of Overland Park, KS, and Andrea and her husband Brandon Brashear of Peculiar, Missouri; 9 great-grandchildren, Kaitlin, Alexander and Kailey of Blue Springs, Missouri, Kharis and Brooklyn of Raymore, Missouri; Julian and Guinevere of Overland Park, Kansas; Zander and Damon of Peculiar, Missouri. She is also survived by her sister Virginia Scott of Lee's Summit, Missouri.
A visitation and reception for Ethel will be held Wednesday, September 8, 2021 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at McGilley & George Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 611 Chestnut, Belton, MO 64012. A funeral service will follow Wednesday, September 8, 2021 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM, 611 Chestnut, Belton, MO 64012. The burial will occur Wednesday, September 8, 2021 from 11:45 AM to 12:00 PM, at Belton Cemetery, 710 S. Scott Ave, Belton, Missouri 64012.
Serving as pallbearers are Arthur Morford, Ronald Morford, David Morford, Keith Knapp, Andrea Brashear and Zander Brashear.
