

Born on December 26, 1959, in Kansas City, Missouri, Floyd was the son of Floyd E. Drummond Sr. and the late Janice Drummond. He was a proud graduate of Belton High School and later earned an Associate of Applied Science degree in Business Management from Longview Community College.
Floyd worked in multiple managerial positions, including middle management and a Vice President of Operations. He also ran his own business for a few years. Beyond his professional life, Floyd was a huge fan of the Kansas Jayhawks and Kansas City Chiefs, enjoyed playing golf, along with blaring music for the world to hear.
Floyd is survived by his children: Abigail (Bryce) Luttrell, Katlyn (Brant) Willoughby, Floyd “Trey” Drummond III, and Jacob Drummond. He also leaves behind his father, Floyd E. Drummond Sr.; siblings Hazel Walton, Rebecca Drummond, Frank Drummond, and Judi Cornwell; nephews Scot Walton, Richard Cornwell and Ethan Drummond; nieces Amy Walton, Rebecca Smith, Richelle Cornwell, Alexa Drummond, Cecily McDaniel, Rilinda Cornwell, and Ireland Drummond; and his beloved grandchildren Brantley, Callie, and Kasen.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Janice Drummond.
A celebration of Floyd’s life will be held on Saturday, May 3rd beginning with a visitation at 2:00 PM at South Haven Baptist Church, 16800 Bel-Ray Blvd, Belton, MO 64012 followed by a service at 3:00 PM. A reception will follow the service.
