Gary Dean Brinkmeyer
February 15, 1963 – March 13, 2023

Gary Dean Brinkmeyer, son of Reide Reginald Brinkmeyer and E. Kaye Brinkmeyer was born February 15, 1963 in St. Louis, Missouri and departed this life on March 13, 2023 in Kansas City, Missouri at the age of 60 years.
Gary confirmed his faith in Christ at a young age with Calvary Lutheran Church. He attended and graduated from Southwest High School and Rockhurst College in Kansas City. After graduating he began working as a credit analyst and statistician. He was highly respected for his work ethic and loyalty. Gary earned prestigious accolades including published research of several Kansas City sports teams and for the National Baseball Hall of Fame. His hobbies included disc golf, attending live sports and music events, genealogy, and collecting.
Gary leaves behind to celebrate his life his mother E. Kaye Brinkmeyer of Lebanon, Missouri; his children Justyn Mathew Osar of San Antonio, Texas, Daniel Charles Reide, of Los Angeles, California, Natalie Lynae Rose of Kansas City, Missouri and Stanley Reginald of Tonganoxie, Kansas; one brother, Edward Reide of Lebanon, Missouri; several cousins, other relatives and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Friedrich and Paula Brinkmeyer of Higginsville, Missouri; Homer and Estella Collins of Big Piney, Missouri; and his father, Reide Brinkmeyer of Lebanon, Missouri.
The family is having a Celebration of Life and inurnment at Dykes Cemetery near Bucyrus, Missouri on Sunday, March 26, 2023 at 1:30 p.m. Reverend Phillip McGuire will officiate. A second Celebration of Life will be held at the Oliver Building 1321 W. 13th St. Kansas City, MO 64102 on April 16, 2023 from 2-6pm. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests contributions in Gary's memory be made to his memorial fund. Contributions may be mailed in care of US Bank 6405 N.
