

Mike was born on October 6, 1958, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He was the beloved son of the late James and Claudine Stoker (Ladd). Mike attended schools at David A. Weir-Fairfield, California; St. Anthony is in Arlington Virginia; St. Thomas More, Washington, D.C.; and Grandview Elementary, Middle, and High Schools.
Mike dedicated 48 years of hard work at Van Liew’s Statuary. He was devoted to the company and the owners, David and Michelle Van Liew, who were loved by Mike as family.
Mike also shared ownership of the “Dog House Bar” in Grandview with his wife. His strong work ethic was shown at the bar as well. Our bar family will miss him and his great food.
Mike enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson, fishing, hunting, and preparing food. What he loved most of all was playing with his grandsons.
He loved his family and friends with all of his heart.
Mike is survived by his loving wife, Johna Roberts Stoker; his stepson, Bryan Roberts (Kellie McGinnis); his stepdaughter, Rachael Power; his grandchildren, Marshall and Mitchell Roberts, and Brenna and Tessa Power; and his siblings, brother Mark Stoker (Joan), and sisters Sean McMurtry (Jim) and Lonna Cerin, his mother-in-law Lin Reber. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and other family members, as well as his Godson, Sean Shay.
Mike had countless friends, some of his closest being David and William Shay, and David Wyatt. A special “Thank You” to Grace Newton for her efforts to save Mike’s life with CPR.
Mike was loved dearly. He will be missed.
