I loved visiting her house in Kansas City with Madelyn when we were younger and we always had so much fun there. We always had great talks when I saw her. She never failed to make me laugh or smile when I spoke to her. She complimented me on how pretty I am and how grown up I’ve become. She was one of a kind and I will cherish my memories with her. Madelyn, Joan, and their family have always felt like a second family to me.

Joan was a good friend and parishioner. We worked together at the bake sales and she loved buying a lot of goodies. I will miss her

Joan was such a special lady. Growing up on Craig she was like a second mother, always looking out for the Granthams and magically showing up at the door every time my mom cooked her fried chicken. She had a way of always making me laugh.

She will always hold a special place in my heart.

Prayers to Phil and Theresa and their families.
