I remember working with Joe in the training dept back in the 70's. He was a great guy to work for. I always had great respect for Joe. He was a great person.

May God comfort all of you during this difficult time. Joe was one of the first people I worked with starting when I was 18 years old in the 442nd recruiting office. He has been a true and loyal friend all these years. We have laughed together and cried together. He will be missed by all who ever met him. See you again when I get to heaven Joe.

Bill and I have known Joe most of his life, while growing up in Aurora Missouri.
We chose Joe to be our best man at our nuptials in 1957,been friends to this day.
What a joy to have known and loved him.

Joe was a sweet man that I had the honor of knowing as a wonderful loving husband who spoke so dearly of his wife Barbara. He would come into the flower shop and later call us to send her flowers. He would tell us why he was sending them, whether it was her birthday, annivesary or because he felt he had caused her to have a bad day. I knew from the softness of his voice of the love he had for his wife. He will be missed by anyone who had the chance to meet him. My thoughts and prayers to the family.

Joe was one of the first people I met when I reported to work at R-G in Oct 1989. Friendly, helpful and kind, his friends were many, The Lord decided to put Joe to work up there. See you then, Joe.
