I met Joyce & Whitey several years ago and enjoyed their company. I am good friends with Chris and loved to hear the wonderful stories of Joyce's life. We would laugh at the funny things she would say or do. I feel special to share my birthday with the day of her passing.

I can not begin to tell you the impact your Mother made on me and my family since I was blessed to meet her one year ago. Even as a student I fell in love with her and came home to share "Joycee stories" with them. She is one of the reasons I joined the Seasons Care Center team and I thank her every day. Joyce was a strong, caring, loving and ornery woman and made all of our lives so much better. She brought joy to my life and a smile to my heart, even on days I considered the most challenging. I can not tell you how much I miss her, but I know unselfishly, I can accept she is in a better place, fully healed, walking with Whitey again and shining her love down on each of us. It was an honor to know her, love her and care for her. The biggest compliment I can pay is to thank you, Mark, Chris, Brenda and David for allowing us to share in her life and to recognize all that she passed along to each of you. God bless you and please keep in touch! Hugs, Julie Brown-Potts

Everyday at Seasons, Joyce would walk around and clean up messes and rearrange her home. She would work her way into conversations and always keeping the straightest face. My favorite conversation that she involved herself into was when me and a co-worker where talking about how tall we were, and I said I was six foot, three inches tall, and Joyce continued the conversation with "So? Do you think that makes you smart?" we laughed and hugged Joyce telling her we loved her. I grew to love Joyce, I will always remember her and she will always have a place in my heart.

There was not a day went pass sence her admission, she did meet me in the hallway, she would walk with me and talk about anything that was on her mind at the time. One day she was walking to me as I was entering the doorway and she said Hello Baby I Love You and was wandering dose your mother live here and do I know her? I explaind to her that my mother live in Oklahoma, but if she did live here that I would make sure that she knew her. She said to me, Yes well I think I would like her because I Love You and I hug her and told her Joycey I Love with all my heart and will always love you and so would my mother. She said I know she would and walk away. I TRULEY Love you Joyce!! and will always have you in my heart. Sheila

Joyce and Whitey have left BJ and I with such wonderful memories. What fun we have in the old days. Joyce loved being in the kitchen baking and making sure we had plenty to take home to enjoy. We loved her and feel the same about the whole family.

Brenda, Chris, Mark and David, I was so sorry to hear about your mom. I just finished looking at the pictures you have posted and a flood of memories come back when ya'll lived on Pinnell here in LS. Presentation, sleep overs, hanging out. What fun we had and how lucky we were to have such wonderful parents to keep us in line, but at the same time allow us our freedom to make our own friends and figure out how to solve our own problems. Your mom & dad were such wonderful, loving and gracious folks. We are keeping you all in our prayers.
