Juanita R. Peterson (Holdman), 86, wife of the late Nelson Peterson, Jr. (Pete) of St. Joseph, Missouri passed away Sunday, July 13, 2025 at Foxwood Springs in Raymore, Missouri. Born May 15, 1939, in Bonne Terre, Missouri she was the daughter of the late Reverend Andy Holdman and Elba (Rawson) Holdman. Juanita completed her Associate of Arts degree in Business and retired after 19 years from Honeywell FM&T. She also worked at Lafayette High School in St. Joseph, Missouri for 11 years. She is survived by her daughter Patricia (Patti) Marriott and her husband Don of Parkville, Missouri, her son Nelson Andrew (Andy) and his wife Christina of Newtown, Pennsylvania as well as three grandchildren Thomas, Jakob and Leif Peterson. In addition to her husband Pete, she was preceded in death by her sister Mabel Robertson (Holdman). Visitation will be held at McGilley & George Funeral Home in Grandview, Missouri on Monday, August 4 at 10:00, memorial service at 11:00 with reception immediately following. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Foundation.
