Kenneth Lee Cox

CMS Kenneth Lee Cox (Retired) USAF. Born June 11, 1934 to Colonel and Alma (Halsey) Cox in Detroit, Michigan. Ken lived in Grandview, Missouri and died in the Lord on November 30, 2018 in Cleveland, Ohio. He attended Detroit schools and Wayne State University, participating in ROTC. Ken was in the Air Force from 1955-1978. He married Mary Ann Barthmuss in 1956 and they raised three dear children, Lee Ann Morris (Jerry), Amy Johnson (Dan) and Jon Cox (Birgit). Ken cherished his six grandchildren and eight plus great grandchildren. He is survived by his sister, Betty Jo Robinson of Jasper, Georgia. Ken was employed at UMB and was very active in this church and community.

Visitation will be 5:00-7:00 PM Monday, December 10 at his beloved Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 5901 E. 135th St. Grandview MO 64030. The Memorial Service will be 10:00 AM Tuesday, December 11, followed by Inurnment in Longview Cemetery.
