He is preceded in death by his parents John R. Bower and Marion L. Bower.
He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Donna; son John and granddaughters Hannah and Rachel of Douglasville, GA; His brothers Paul (Nancy) of New Braunfels, TX; David of Raymore, MO; Bob Dockey of Kerrville, TX.
Robert was born July 31, 1947 as the youngest of 3 brothers. As a young boy is was involved in Boy Scouts and remained a participant and supporter of scouting for the majority of his life. He attained the highest rank in Boy Scouts, an Eagle Scout.
He was a long-time employee of Major Cadillac in Kansas City. He also was a lifetime resident of Grandview. Robert was a devoted husband, father and grandfather.
A celebration of life will be announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations to Boy Scouts of America.
