He was the middle child of three siblings, older sister, Kari, and younger brother, Rodney.
Before retiring in July, Roger worked for UPS for 26 years. He was an Eagle Scout & loved fishing and traveling. He loved helping his mom and anyone else who asked. He was very proud of his 69 Prostreet Camaro that he and his best friend Danny worked on for countless hours. He won many awards. He also loved the KC Royals and the KC Chiefs. He also loved rock ‘n’ roll, but his favorite band was KISS.
Roger is proceeded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his sister, Kari Vergouven (Doug) of Harrisonville, Missouri; brother, Rodney Bear of Raytown Missouri, Aunt, MaryAnn (Bear) Lawrence (Portland), nieces Dawn Ackley (Brandon) of Raymore, Haley Wylde (Jon) of Harrisonville, great nephew Ben Ackley, great nieces Ryleigh Yahnig (Josh), Reygan Ackley & Charlee Wylde, great great niece Leni & many cousins, special friends & neighbors.
