Ruby Erleen Heard
June 8, 1936 – October 19, 2015
Ruby Erleen heard, 79, of Grandview, MO went home to heaven on October 19, 2015. Visitation 5-7 pm Friday, Oct. 23 and funeral service 11:00 am Saturday, Oct. 24 at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 5901 E 135th St. in Grandview. Memorials are suggested for Holy Trinity. Ruby was born on June 8, 1936 in Knob Noster, MO, to Fred and Olga Krone Poese. She was joined in holy matrimony to Elmer Edward Heard on December 22, 1954. She was a faithful member of Holy Trinity. Ruby enjoyed working with flowers; quilting for family, friends, and Truman Medical Center; playing cards with pinochle friends; watching sports, especially Royals and Chiefs; and enjoyed spending time with her loving family. She was predeceased by her parents, three brothers and a sister. Survivors include: husband Elmer; sons Mark (Karen), Wayne (Tabitha) and Keith (Cher); grandson Aaron, granddaughters Emily (Matt) Topi, Kellie (Jay) Cram, Krista and Katie Heard.
