

Sandy Myers of Grandview, MO peacefully passed away on January 30, 2024. A devoted mother, grandmother and friend, born on August 26, 1941, known for her sparkling personality and her love for life. Sandy lived every moment with kindness and grace. Her laughter was infectious and her spirit, much like her favorite color, green, was always fresh and vibrant.
Sandy’s joy for life and love for her family will forever be cherished by those who knew her. Her absence will leave an irreplaceable void in the hearts of her family. A proud supporter of Kansas City Chiefs, Sandy was a steadfast fan, cheering her favorite team through thick and thin. Her bubbly and spry personality, combined with her warm hospitality, made her house the best place to gather.
Sandy also loved to travel, with Corpus Christi being her favorite vacation spot. She was a regular viewer of The Game Show Network. Her competitive nature combined with her zest for life was reflected in her love for such games. Yet, it was her sporty spirit and charisma that made every game special, offering many fun and memorable moments for her family and friends.
Sandy leaves behind a legacy of kindness and generosity that will resonate through the generations to come. Her caring nature, generous heart and lively spirit touch the lives of everyone she met. Her legacy will be remembered in the joyful laughter, warm embraces and loving memories she shared with us all.
Sandy leaves behind a loving family; her beloved daughter, Cathy Gross; grandsons, Cody and Dustin Thiery, and a great grandson, Robert Thiery. She was predeceased by her husband, Robert Myers, and her parents, Wilda and Lewis Sanders.
Sandy will be dearly missed by many. As we mourn her loss, we also celebrate the vivacious life she lived, the enduring love she gave, and the unforgettable memories she left us with. Her spirit will forever be in our hearts.
