
Agnes was very proud to be an American Legion Auxiliary member for 60 years and a life member of the Neal E. Fonger Post, Unit 179.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years Earl; son Roger Allen Peters; and grandson Randall Scott Smith. She will be deeply missed by her children, Judith Tom Holzgen, Patricia Jerry Grooters, Gary Marjean Peters, and Darwin Peggy Sue Peters; eleven grandchildren; twenty one great grandchildren; one great great grandson; her sister Inez Schuab; and many nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, May 20th at her church, Bethel Lutheran, 3655 Wilson SW, with Rev. Glenn P. Kopper officiating.
Interment service will be held at Conklin Cemetery.
Relatives and friends may meet Agnes’s family on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Cook Funeral Home west building 4235 Prairie St SW in Grandville.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in memory of Agnes may be made to the Grand Rapids Home for Veterans Volunteer Services, 3000 Monroe NE.
