Alex James Raguckis, age 36, went to be with his Lord Friday, January 6, 2023. Alex is survived and deeply missed by his grandmother, Gertrude Renkema (96 years young); mother, Louisa Raguckis; father, James Raguckis; brothers Adam Raguckis, Eric Raguckis; sisters Annie Muir (along with her significant other and Alex’s best friend, Adam Dertein), DyAnn Lee; niece, Brynn Muir; nephew, Brayden Muir; special aunt and uncle, Art and Dawn Renkema; special cousins Ben and Racquel Renkema, Jon and Dan Renkema; many, many loved aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Alex lost his battle with alcoholism. He was extremely talented in drawing and carpentry. He loved his dogs DeeCee and Ziggy, disc golfing, dirt biking, skateboarding, racing RC cars, snowboarding, shooting, camping, and anything extreme. Alex will be remembered as a loving son, brother, grandson, nephew, and cousin. He was sensitive, sweet, and oh so funny. He's no longer here in our lives to share, but in our hearts, always there.
Visitation with friends and relatives will take place from 4-7 p.m. Tuesday, January 10, 2023 at Cook Funeral Home (West building), 4235 Prairie St. SW, Grandville, MI 49418.
