Her husband Willard preceded her in death.

She is survived by her children, Louise Robert Bloemendaal of Jenison, Willard J. Roxann Mirabella Rykse of St. Clair Shores, and James B. Janet Rykse of Boyne City; 8 grandchildren, Robin Kevin DeGood, Brent Rykse, Elizabeth Rykse, Jeremy Rykse, Brad Rykse, Sarah Rykse, Riley Denison, Nick Denison; great grandsons, Blair Miller and Devin DeGood; her brothers, Harry Lois Smith and Donald Shirley Smith; brother in-law Gene Helen Rykse; sister in-law Gert Rykse; and many nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held 1 p.m. Saturday at the Cook Memorial Chapel east building 4235 Prairie St. SW, with Rev. Matthew Palsrok officiating.

The family will receive relatives and friends from 12 p.m. until service time at 1 p.m.

Memorial contributions may be made to Home of Hope Hospice.
