Alyda G. Westveer

Her husband James preceded Alyda in death. Surviving are her children, James Jr. Joanne Westveer of Issaquak, WA and Jody Terry Sturgell of Oxford, MA; five grandchildren; two great grandsons; her brother Bud Gebben; and several nieces and nephews.

Alyda was a long time member of Grandville Jenison Congregational Church. Alyda worked as a Registered Nurse and received her training from the Butterworth Nursing School.

The funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, September 19, from the Cook Memorial Chapel east building 4235 Prairie St. SW in Grandville.

The family will receive relatives and friends on Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Cook Funeral Home west building in Grandville.
