Angel Martinez, age 2, entered into Jesus’ arms Monday, August 14, 2023 after a battle with Menkes disease. Angel loved to spend time watching Franklin the Turtle and being with his family, especially his siblings. He will be deeply missed.
He will be lovingly remembered by his mother, Kaylynn Walker; father, Diego Martinez; siblings Ximena, Kimberly, Jesus, Alejandrah; uncles Angel Martinez, Mateo Cruz; aunt, Iris Cruz; maternal grandparents Nancy Gilbert and Bryan Walker; paternal grandmother, Gloria Medina; and many cousins and extended family.
Visitation will be held from 1-3 p.m. Saturday, August 19, 2023 at Cook Funeral Home (West building), 4235 Prairie St. SW, Grandville, MI 49418. In memory of Angel and in lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Helen DeVos Children’s Hospital Foundation.
