Annette Juliette-Maria VanDyke

VAN DYKE Annette Juliette-Maria VanDyke, age 72, formerly of Grand Rapids, passed away Monday, October 31, 2011. Annette came to Michigan from the Netherlands in the 1950's. Her skill as a seamstress provided work at both Baker Furniture in Holland and the Red Flannel Factory in Cedar Springs which lead to employment with GM and then to Saturn in Tennessee. She was born on April 23, 1939 to Joseph and Mary (Pirnay) Franken. She will be deeply missed by her children, Randy (Rachel) VanDyke, Mark VanDyke, Catherine VanDyke, and Diane Braden; grandchildren, Joshua (Erika) VanDyke, Nicholas VanDyke, Jasmine VanDyke, Stephanie (Tim) Kisner, Krista VanDyke, and Alicia Capogrossa; her great grandson, Ian; sisters and brother, Cici, Pauline, Martha, Liz, Mary, and John; and her nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Friday, November 4, 2011 at 11 AM, at the Cook Memorial Chapel (east building), 4235 Prairie SW, Grandville. Interment will be at Georgetown Township Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet Annette's family Thursday from 7-9 PM at the Cook Funeral Home (west building).
