My friendship with Arlene was so simple and special. We truly loved spending time together. We shared stories, laughs, tears and prayers together. We had a standing breakfast date every Saturday morning and her favorites were IHOP and Red Geranium (sugar toast). In the summer after breakfast she would head to the lake cottage to spend the day with some of the kids. Oh how she loved going there. Thankyou Bob, Mary, Jack, Emily, Nick, Jan, Mary, and Mark for embracing my friendship with your Mother and the privilege of helping with her care. Love to you all.

I will always remember all of our lunches together and visits in Aunt Arlene's living room. She was such a joy to be around, always very positive and thoughtful. I will miss her terribly.

Dear Family, Your Mom and Dad were so special to us! We have years of wonderful memories which we will always treasure. We will never forget when they first came to New Era and right from that first day our friendship began! We were always proud when they introduced us to others and your Mom would say, "they are just like our kids ". We will miss your Mom greatly. She was an important part of our lives. She leaves you and your children and all of her friends a wonderful example of a life filled with love for her Lord and a love for others. The coming days will bring you laughter and joy as you recall wonderful memories and sadness and tears as her death brings a empty spot into your lives.
