Arnold Hibma

He was preceded in death by his infant son, his parents Frank Sr. and Frances Hibma TerHaar, brother Don Hibma, father and mother in-law, Henry and Johanna Schut, and his brother in-law Bryce “Rip” Ripley.

He is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Violet; his children Michael Hibma, Susan Hibma and fiancAC. Terrace Kreuze; brother Russ Darla Hibma, Frank Linda Hibma, Larry Jan Hibma, Wes Hibma, sister Bonnie Irvin Russell; sister-in-law and brothers-in-laws, Linda Hibma, LaVerne Gart Schut, Perlin Agnes Schut, Gladys Ripley, Lou Carla Schut; step-father Clarence TerHaar and special nephew Dave Melanie Ripley.

Arnie will be greatly missed by his many nieces, nephews and coworkers and friends at Lumberman’s where he worked for 37 years.

The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, September 20th at Cottonwood Heights Christian Reformed Church.

The family will receive relatives and friends on Saturday and Sunday from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Cook Memorial Chapel east building 4235 Prairie St. SW.

The family requests please that in lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Santa Claus Girls and Marines Toys for Tots.
