Ayward Worstell

Worstell - Ayward F. Worstell, age 90, of Burnips went to be with his Lord Friday, July 6, 2001. He is preceded in death by his loving wife, Mabel; daughter, Lois Hundley; grandson, Ronald A. Hundley; great granddaughter, Brooke Duel-Myers; great grandson, Daniel Ives; six brothers and one sister.

Mr. Worstell enjoyed spending time with family, gardening, playing the guitar, harmonica and mandolin. Ayward was also a life long member of Southside Church of Christ. He will be greatly missed by his wife, Caroline Majewski Worstell; children, Carolyn James Smith of Eau Claire, Ken Jane Worstell of Otsego, Deb Dave Boeve of Holland; two sons-in-law, Allen Hundley of Pontiac, Jack Genther of Kaloma; ten grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; one brother, Harold Violet Worstell; one sister-in-law, Marietta Worstell and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be held Monday 11:00 a.m. at the Cook Funeral Home - Byron Center 2067 84th St. with Pastor Charles Young of Southside Church of Christ officiating. Interment Burnips Cemetery. The family will meet with relatives and friends Sunday 4 to 8 p.m. from the Cook Funeral Home, Byron Center.
