Babs Croft

Babs Croft, age 91, entered into the arms of her Lord and Savior February 14, 2023. Babs enjoyed her life and her family. After raising eight children, she graduated from Grand Valley State University with her masters degree in special education. Babs loved being in the outdoors, camping, swimming at the lake, and gardening. In her later years, she spent time reading, knitting, spending time with her loved ones, and getting the programs ready for Sunday at her church. She will be missed.

She was preceded in death by her parents John and Jozina Mast; husband, Oneal John Croft; and son, Marty Nordyke. She will be missed by her sister, Anne Kazemier; children Connie Koslek, John Nordyke, Joyce Nordyke, Casey Nordyke, Michelle (Val) Pierson, Tim Nordyke, Dan Nordyke; stepchildren Dolores Mosley, Oneal Croft Jr.; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, extended family, and friends.

A funeral service celebrating Babs’ life will be held 1 p.m. Monday, February 20, 2023 at Cook Memorial Chapel (East building), 4235 Prairie St. SW, Grandville, MI 49418, with visitation from 12-1 p.m. prior to the service.
