Barbara Lynn Peters, age 62, of Byron Center, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, January 28, 2020. She was preceded in death by her parents Benjamin and Antoinette Bonnema and brothers Thomas and Robert Bonnema.
She is survived by her loving husband, Dean Waldron; her children Lila (Jason) Link, Rob Peters, Joe Peters, and Brian Peters; step-daughter, Melissa Waldron; and grandchildren Eden and Savanah. Also surviving are her brother, William (Joan) Bonnema; the father of her children, Mike Peters; her dogs Gracie and Charlie; and her cat, Grommet.
Barb’s love for dogs was well known and shown in her fostering over 130 dogs, first with Hearts of Hope and now with Luvnpupz.
Funeral services will be held at 11 am Monday, February 3, 2020 at Cook Funeral Home - Byron Center Chapel, 2067 84th St. The family will receive relatives and friends Sunday, February 2, from 2-5 pm and one hour prior to services on Monday.
