It was a blessing knowing Barry in this mortal life, and I'm glad I did know him.
 "My 23rd Psalm" Into the valley of death I went one day, beside still waters I made my way. Green pastures bathed in the sun's warm glow, led to a vale where lillies grow. I was not afraid, the way was clear, for there to guide me was my Lord, so dear. I could hear the flutter of angel wings, and the distant music from a thousand strings. A glorious light shone on my Savior's face, as He guided me gently to that heavenly place. Joy filled my heart, all cares fell away, I was going home to Jesus, forever to stay.
 My prayers will be with Judy, Amanda, Jessica and the extended family.

Dear Judy, Jessica and Amanda, Our thoughts and prayers are with you. Remember that God and his angels take care of all of us here on Earth and also when we are at His side. Barry was Molly's soccer coach in 1997. He always seemed to enjoy walking those sidelines with that wonderful smile of his cheering the girls on. The amazing thing is, even five years later, every time we would see Barry around Caledonia, he would always ask how Molly was doing. It shows that not only was he a committed coach, but also interested in the girls and their families. What a wonderful memory for our family... and yours.

Judy, Jessica and Amanda, What an awesome God we serve. There are things we don't understand that He will explain to us when He comes to take us all home. We were so blessed to have Barry as a friend. We fondly remember the road trips to Ludington, Louisville and other fun spots. One memory we will especially cherish is the week we spent with you in Jamaica. I thank God for letting your family be a part of our lives. Ps 91 says "He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress, My God in Him will I trust".
