Benjamin Franklin Dixon, age 87 of Grand Rapids, passed away August 9, 2023. Preceded in death by his wife, Donna; sister, Merlene Barber; and brother, George Dixon. Surviving are his four children Benjamin Dixon II, Debra and Thomas Redner, Eric Dixon - all from Grand Rapids, Donica and Richard Bignall of Greenville; several grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and many friends.
Visitation with friends and relatives will take place from 6-8 p.m. Monday, August 14, 2023 at Cook Funeral Home (West building), 4235 Prairie St. SW, Grandville, MI 49418. A celebration of Benjamin’s life will commence 3 p.m. Tuesday, August 15, 2023, with visitation one hour prior, at Cook Memorial Chapel (East building). Richard Bignall will be officiating.
