On Friday, September 9, 2022, Bernice Cunningham went to her heavenly home at the age of 87. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frederick Cunningham Jr., and son, Fred Cunningham. She is survived by her children Shelly (Mike) Anderson, Mike (Chris) Cunningham, Rick (Mary) Cunningham, Kathy (Keith) Huizinga, and Ellen (Randy) Nauta; 15 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; brother and sisters-in-law Tom (Linda) Cunningham and Marcia Mann; special Sunset friend, Char Hoekstra; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Bernice was a lifelong member of Fair Haven Ministries. Her family would like to extend a special thank you to the Sunset Manor nursing staff and Faith Hospice for their loving care of Mom.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. on Friday, September 16, 2022 at Fair Haven Church (2900 Baldwin St., Hudsonville, MI 49426), with visitation from 10:00-10:45 a.m. prior to the service. In lieu of flowers and in memory of Bernice, contributions may be made to Hand2Hand Ministries at Fair Haven.
