Betty Gaastra

She will be greatly missed by her children, Tom Gaastra and Terri Johnston; her grandchildren, Tanya, Shanon and Tyler Gaastra and Brandi Johnston; her great-grandchildren, Alexandria and Rylee; her sisters, Margaret Heemstra, Arlene Andrews, Julia and Ken Dice and Lee Stukkie; her brother, Nick Riemersma; her sisters and brothers-in-law, Fannie Riemersma, Shirley Riemersma, Otto and Gwen Gaastra, George and Dorothy Gaastra, Carl and Winifred Compagner; many nieces and nephews.

Betty was preceded in death by her husband, Ted; her son-in-law, Tom Johnston and her brothers, John, Nelson and Peter Riemersma.

Funeral service will be held 2 PM Friday at Cook Memorial Chapel 4235 Prairie - East Building. Visitation 7 to 9 Thursday at Cook Funeral Home, Grandville West Building.
