Betty Millicent Shirley Randall (Bradley) passed peacefully in her sleep Monday, August 23, 2021. Born January 14, 1934 in Detroit, Betty grew up in Mesick, MI where she was active in the school, composing the school song and attending nearly all high school reunions. She married the love of her life, Leon Randall, in 1952, and moved to the Grand Rapids area. Betty was preceded in death by Lee. She is survived by her three children Mike (Kelly) Randall, Michelle (Kevin) Mattson, and Greg (Wende) Randall; six grandchildren Jordan Mattson, Troy Randall, Emma Randall, Justin Mattson, Nathan Randall, and Olivia Randall; beloved nephew, Ed (Marlene) Bradley; and countless family and friends.
Betty was proud of her career in accounting, and was an avid golfer with Lee - on several leagues. She enjoyed water skiing and entertaining family and friends at the family property in Mesick and then in Middleville, MI. She was an experienced deer hunter and enjoyed being outdoors; she also loved playing cards and board games. She enjoyed traveling to Florida regularly to soak in the sun and spend time with friends. After retirement, Betty loved helping care for her grandchildren and supporting their activities and school events. She cherished her family and spread kindness to all those she met. Betty will be missed dearly.
Visitation with family and friends will be held from 4-7 p.m. Thursday, September 2, 2021 and 10-11 a.m. Friday, September 3, with a memorial service 11 a.m. at Cook Funeral Home (West building) in Grandville.
