
Mrs. McDowell was preceded in death by her husband Marion 'Burr'; son Richard; and brother John Richards. Beulah was a lifelong Byron Center High School wrestling fan.
She is survived by five sons, John Allan Chris McDowell, Raymond Scott McDowell, Michael Gene Patrice McDowell, Jody Keith Ardie McDowell, Robert James Tricia McDowell; grandchildren, Kelly, Cory, Argus, Jeremy, Nick, Jesse, Chelsea, Jim, Patrick, Abby. Also surviving is one brother, Harry Ann Richards; daughter-in-law Deb McDowell; several nieces and nephews; and many caring lifelong friends.
Funeral service will be held Monday 11 a.m. at the Cook Funeral Home, Byron Center, 2067 84th St, with Tom Hooker officiating. Interment Floral View Memorial Gardens. The family will meet with relatives and friends Sunday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. from the Cook Funeral Home, Byron Center. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be may to Hospice of Michigan.
