On Saturday, June 24, 2023, Beverly Elaine (Smith) Meehan, went to be with her Lord and Savior at the age of 93. She was preceded in death by her first husband of 30 years, Wallace L. Smith; second husband of 30 years, Richard F. Meehan; parents William John Ekkens and Beulah Anna (Wollander) Ekkens; sisters Gloria Scott and Dorothy Stephaniak; brothers John and Robert Ekkens; great-granddaughter, Adalyn B. Smith. She will be lovingly missed by her children Craig (Ruth) Smith, Mark (Diane) Smith, Tammy (Tim) Bailey, and Brian (Laura) Smith; grandchildren Becky Smith, AJ (Colin) Smith, Chelsie (Matt) Reed, Luke (Kaylee) Smith, Hannah (Alan) Nugent, Aubrie (Chris) Allen, Josh Meunier, Michael Smith, and Angie Voet; great-grandchildren Maycee, Levi, Mylee, Trapper, Weston, Remmington, Henry, Barrett, Rowan, Hazel, Cylas, Eislie, and Kylen; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, June 29, 2023 at Ada Bible Church, 8899 Cascade Rd. SE, Ada, MI 49301, with visitation from 10-10:45 a.m. prior to service.
