Bill G. Barksdale

He will be remembered by his wife of 63 years, Margie Barksdale: children Luke (Sue) Barksdale, Mark Barksdale, Elaine (Tim) Cook, Glen (Chris) Barksdale; 12 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews and friends.

Bill was proud of his country and served in the U.S. Army in the 45th division during the Korean conflict and was awarded the Bronze Star.

Visitation will be held from 5-7PM Sunday, March 19, 2017 at Cook Funeral Home (West Building), 4235 Prairie St. SW, Grandville, MI. Funeral service will be held at 11AM Monday, March 20, 2017 with visitation one-hour prior at Grandville Church of Christ – 3725 44th Street SW, Grandville, MI 49418. Pastor Russ Holden will be officiating. Interment will be at Rosedale Memorial Park.
