Billie De De Boer

She now rests peacefully in the arms of her Savior, Jesus Christ. Preceding her into Glory were her parents Herman and Angie Niewiek; and seven brothers and sisters.

Her love is our sunshine, the seeds she planted continue to grow. She will remain the bloom that flourishes within us as we journey. Billie’s loving memory will be cherished by her devoted husband of 57 years Ted; her children and grandchildren, Loie and Gord DeBoer Scott and Katie, Julie, and Susie, Jerry and Deb DeBoer Kristy and her fiancAC. Matt Wieland, Jennie and BJ Tomanek, and Amanda and her fiancAC. Jeremy Stein, Bruce and Cindy DeBoer Jackie, Rachel, Elizabeth, Natalie, and Olivia, Marilyn and Doug Leech Doug, Gina, and Victoria; special nephew Jim and Marilyn Niewiek and their family; sister Martha Tuinier; brothers and sisters-in-law, Bill Kosteer, Dena Tanis, Dorothy Lampen, Gerald and Marge DeBoer, Francis Broekhuis, Gene and Irene DeBoer, Mable Bolhuis, Art and Carol Van Houten, John and Evelyn Van Dussen, Bill and Joyce DeBoer, and Frank and Dorothy DeBoer; and many nieces and nephews that were precious to her.

A service celebrating Billie’s life will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, June 1st at the Byron Center First Christian Reformed Church 2450 85th St. with Thomas K. Groelsema officiating.

Burial will take place in Winchester Cemetery.

The family will meet with relatives and friends on Sunday and Monday from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Cook Funeral Home, Byron Center Chapel 2467 84th St..

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions in Billie’s name may be made to the Byron Center First Christian Reformed Church Building Wish List.

The family extends a special thank you to Kathy, Joann, Jill, Cathryn, Ben, Jim, Dr. Gary Humphries, and the Critical Care Team at Spectrum Blodgett, for caring for our mother as if she were your own.
