Burr M. Rogers

ROGERS-Dr. Burr M. Rogers, age 81, passed away, Monday, August 23, 2010. He was preceded in death by his wife Shirley and his sister Charlotte Olson. He is survived by his sons J. Scott Marilyn Rogers and Kurt Rogers; his grandchildren Kelley and Greg Rogers; his sister Ginny Dave Reed and several nieces and nephews. Dr. Rogers worked for over 45 years at Metro Hospital before his retirement in 2004. Burr enjoyed golfing, traveling, radio control planes and fishing.

A memorial service will be held 2 pm Saturday at Wyoming Park United Methodist Church with Pastor Bill Johnson officiating. The family will receive relatives and friends Thursday 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm at the Cook Funeral Home, Byron Center, 2067 84th St and one hour prior to services at church Saturday.
