Carl D. Postma

He was preceded in death by his son Michael Postma; his parents, Cyrus and Margaret Postma; and his father and mother-in-law, Simon and Marjorie Fisher.

He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 43 years Kathryn Fisher Postma; his sons, Douglas Janna Postma, Craig Tammy Postma, and David Amy Postma; his grandchildren, Jason, Kristin, Matthew, Rachel, Brooklynne, Jared, Alexis, Andrew, and Megan; his brothers, Donald Janice Postma, Robert Virginia Postma, and James Janet Postma.

Living Bible, II Timothy 4:7, “I have fought long and hard for my Lord, and through it all I have kept true to him.And now the time has come for me to stop fighting and rest.”

The funeral service will be held 1 p.m. Monday at the First Reformed Church of Allendale corner of Lake Michigan Dr. and 60th.

The family will meet with relatives and friends on Saturday from 2 to 5 p.m. and Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Cook Funeral Home, Jenison 1889 Baldwin Dr..

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the Allendale Baptist Church building fund or David’s House Ministries.
