Carol Dana Locke (Sweet), age 85, of Hudsonville, MI, went to be with her Lord, Friday, November 2, 2018. She was preceded in death by her parents Glenn and Doris Sweet; parents-in-law Chester and Maybelle Locke; siblings-in-law Chet (Elsie) Locke, Art (Effy) Slanetz, and Charlie (Gene) Locke.
She will be missed by her loving husband of 60 years, Robert “Bob” Locke; children Deb (Wes) Batts, Wendy (Brian) Ahearne and Sandy (Joel) Mulder; grandchildren Rachel (Jack and Tripp), Kyle (Nita and Jace), Justin (Tessa and baby on the way), Crystal, Tyler; brother, Stedman Sweet; in-laws Ted (Judy) Locke; and many nieces, nephews and friends.
Carol was a loving and caring wife, mom, grandma, sister, great-grandma and friend.
She loved camping, birding, music, gardening, flowers, playing cards, games and baking with the grandkids. The family would like to give a special thank you to Hospice of Holland for all their loving care.
The family held a private service in Carol’s memory.
