Carole Eileen White

WHITE Carole E. White of Jamestown, MI, went to be with her Lord Sunday, January 25, 2015 at the Laurels of Hudsonville. She was born July 12, 1934 in Lansing, MI and spent much of her life in the Big Rapids area working in dry cleaning stores. Carole moved to the Grand Rapids area in the 1980's where she became a member of the Grandville Resurrection Life Church in 1999. She was inspired to go to a mission orphanage in Colima, Mexico in 2002. In 2007 she suffered a stroke and was forced to return to Michigan and made her home at the Laurels of Hudsonville.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Stewart E. and Wiona L. White; and her two husbands, Al Hoyt, and Carl Burian. Surviving are her three brothers and three sisters, Llewellyn (Mary) White of El Cajon, CA, Barbara (Jack) Maus of White Cloud, MI, Kenneth (Dorothy) White of Morley, MI, Judy Becker of Big Rapids, Gerald (Marcia) White also of White Cloud, MI and Sandra Duke of Tuscon, AZ; 19 nieces and nephews; and several great nieces and nephews. Many thanks go to Caroline King and Rocky Sluiter, who were valuable towers of strength and love to Carole after she came to Grandville Resurrection Life Church.

Her memorial services will be held Tuesday, 11 AM at Resurrection Life Church, 5100 Ivanrest SW, Grandville, with Pastor Pat Binish officiating.
