Charles E. Woodruff

WOODRUFF - Charles E. Woodruff, age 89 of Byron Center went to be with his Lord, Thursday, July 27, 2006. He was preceded in death by his wives Leora Bradley and Julia Sweers, infant son George, grandsons Charles A. Woodruff and Anthony Bekkering and brother Albert Woodruff. He is survived by his sons Floyd Jeanne Woodruff and Gary Bonnie Woodruff, his daughter Mary Mark Bont; step-sons, Roger Karen Bekkering, Wayne Phyllis Bekkering, Calvin Sally Bekkering, and David Linda Bekkering; 21 grandchildren, many great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren; sister Harriet Larson; sisters-in-law Dora Fred Scheuneman, Virgie Bradley, Thelma Sweers, Helen Sweers and Beverly Tubergen; brother-in-law Ray Sweers. Graveside service will be held at Sand Lake Cemetery at 2 p.m. Sunday. Memorial contributions may be made to Library of Choice for Large Print Books or 1st Byron Center Reformed Building Fund.
