

Christopher Isaac Anderson (Chris), age 61, went to be with his Lord Wednesday, December 3, 2025, after many health struggles. Chris was preceded in death by his parents Isaac and Mary Anderson; and mother-in-law, Georgia Bowerman. He will be remembered by his wife of 27 years, Terri Anderson; children Elijah (Taylor Jager) and Lydia; siblings Michael (Soraiya), Karen O’Neil, Martin (Colleen), William (Carol Sue), Charles (Mary), John (Sue); sisters-in-law Rahnda (Dean) Bordeaux, Shay (Roger) Hall, Traci (Larry) Michael; and father-in-law, Willis Jaquays; many nieces, nephews, and extended family, as well as friends.
He loved his family with all his heart. He was proud to be the father of Eli and Lydia, treasuring every moment spent together and offering his love, guidance, and strength. His memory will live on in the stories he shared, the songs that remind us of him, and the deep love he had for his family. Chris was an avid reader, guitarist, drummer, and Detroit Lions fan. He loved the blues and rock and roll music. He always looked forward to meeting with his friends for coffee and reconnecting with old friends. He graduated with his bachelor’s degree at the age of 48 from Grace Christian University.
Visitation with friends and relatives will be held from 5-8 p.m. Monday, December 8, 2025 at Cook Memorial Chapel (East Building), 4235 Prairie Street SW, Grandville, MI 49418. A celebration of Chris’ life will commence 11 a.m. Tuesday, December 9, with visitation one hour prior, at Cook Memorial Chapel (East Building). Pastor Wayne Ondersma will be officiating. Luncheon will follow the funeral at Fairway Church, 1165 44th St. SW, Jenison, MI 49428. Graveside service will be 3 p.m. at Resurrection Cemetery.
