He was preceded in death by his father, Daniel E. Rhodes; step-father, Kenneth M. Lesiow; cousin, Gavin Rushevics.
He is survived by his wife, Gail Ackerman and her son, Nick (Sarah) Urbon; daughter, Chelsea Rhodes; step-sons Brandon and Kyle DeRyke; grandmother, Joan Whitfield; mother, Carol Rhodes Lesiow; brother, Tim (Michelle) Rhodes; nephews Grant, Josh, and Jake Rhodes; uncles and aunts Ann Rushevics, George Whitfield, Leah (Larry) Mason, and Pat (Dave) Sziede; cousin, Brian Rushevics; and many other close family members.
