
VANDEN BOSCH - Clarence 'Clare' Vanden Bosch, age 54 of Middleville, died Thursday, March 8, 2001. He was born March 17, 1946 to Marvin and Loraine Vanden Bosch in Zeeland, MI and was preceded in death by his father Marvin in 1996. He is survived by his wife Arlene Kinderman; son Christopher, age 11, and daughter Amanda, age 15; sisters; sister-in-law; brother and brother-in-law, Kathy and Jerry Trantham, Dave and Julie Vanden Bosch, Sue Vanden Bosch and several nieces and nephews. His was a graduate of West Ottawa High School and Western Michigan University where he obtained both a Bachelor's and Master's Degree. Clare was a teacher at Byron Center High School for 32 years where he also coached Cross Country and Track for several years. He was also recognized as the leading 'cheerleader' for the basketball and football teams. He loved his children and spent many hours with them. He dedicated countless hours of his life to teaching, coaching and his children. He was a member of Fountain Street Church in Grand Rapids, MI. Visitation will be Sunday from 3 to 7 p.m. at the Cook Funeral Home, 2067 84th St. SW, Byron Center. A memorial celebration of life service will be held at Rush Creek Bible Church, 2334 76th St. SW, Byron Center, at 3 p.m. on Monday, March 12 with Rev. William Vanden Bosch officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to Byron Center High School Athletic Department or a charity of one's choice.
