Clarence C. Wiers

WIERS a?" Clarence C. Wiers, age 84, of Grandville, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Thursday, April 7, 2011. He was preceded in death by his parents, Gerrit and Hazel (Thiel) Wiers; and siblings, Edwin Wiers, Leona Morski and Alice VanderMolen.

He will be lovingly remembered by his children, Richard (Linda) Wiers, Scott Wiers, and Tracie Westra; grandchildren, Shannon (Chris) Timmerman, Chris Wiers, Brandon, Tim, and Derek Westra; 2 great grandchildren; brother, Gerrit (Judy) Wiers; sister-in-law, Nancy Wiers; and many nieces and nephews. Clarence was the former owner of Interstate Motor Sales with his twin brother Edwin.

The funeral service will be held 2 pm Monday at the Grace Bible Church, 3715 Wilson SW, Grandville with Rev. Todd Kinde officiating. Interment will be at Jamestown Cemetery. The family will meet with relatives and friends on Sunday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at the Cook Funeral Home, 4235 Prairie SW, Grandville (West Building). Memorial contributions may be made to The Alzheimers Association or the Steve and Ruth Porter Missionary Fund, % Grace Bible Church.
