
He won his long and courageous battle with a congenital heart defect, and now joins his brother, Don Harrington, in Paradise.
Dan will be remembered as a man that lived his life to the fullest. He was known for his wonderful sense of humor, his thirst for adventure, and his love of life. He enjoyed woodworking and playing the guitar.
Dan’s memory will be cherished by his wife of 5 A½ years, Cathleen “Cathy”; parents, Don and Gloria Harrington; sisters, Theresa Kozak, Mary Bubba Jackson, and Sherry Paul Sisovsky; father and mother-in-law, Jack and Kate Bueche; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Brian Mary Jo Bueche, Maureen Chuck Wegener, Ed Linda Bueche, Joe Deb Bueche, and Lou Karolyn Bueche; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Mass to Celebrate Dan’s Life will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Friday, June 10, 2005, at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 2230 Lake Michigan Dr.
The family will receive relatives and friends one hour prior to the service at church.
Memorial contributions in Dan’s name may be made to Special Olympics of Michigan or the Mayo Clinic Foundation for use by St. Mary’s Hospital Patients Library.
