Daniel Lee Martinovich

Daniel Lee Martinovich, age 67, went to be with his Lord, Thursday, October 16, 2014. He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Lorraine Martinovich and his brother, Paul Martinovich. Dan will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 47 years, Mary Martinovich (Woldring); his daughters, Melissa and Steve Heys, Jill and Brian Strick, Alison and Casey Cochran; his grandchildren, Alek and Andersen Heys, Quinn, Charlee and Danni Cochran, Preslie and Monroe Strick; his brother, Robert and Patricia Martinovich; his brothers- and sisters-in-law, Kurt and Patti Schonfeld, Shirley and Terry Beck, Bruce and Denise Woldring; and many nieces and nephews.

Dan loved taking care of "his girls" and spending time with his grandkids most of all, but he also enjoyed baking, traveling, bowling, gardening and playing Mr. Fix-it. Dan served in the US Navy and was proud to be a Veteran of the Vietnam War.

A time for relatives and friends to visit with Dan's family will be held from 12 to 2 PM and 6 to 8 PM, Monday, October 20, at Cook Memorial Chapel (East Building) Grandville, 4235 Prairie St. SW. Funeral services will be held 11 AM Tuesday, October 21 at Grand Rapids First, 2100 44th St. SW in the Prayer Chapel. Entombment will be at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
